2014+ owners having issues with their truck?

Recommended Posts

...I'm glad I found this thread as I no longer question whether I should have ordered the SLT for cooled seats, lane departure, sliding rear window, etc. Less complexity to worry about. Truck is silver and I will do a good look over for paint defects, listen for squeaks, rough idle, sliding/noisy seats during the upcoming test drive...

Every time after I've read new posts I go to "build and price" and start over again.

Just to eliminate more options from the list and to see where I'm ending up if I order a truck today. :)

And maybe it is right that it is a difference in testing trucks or produce them in mass on the line.

Still it is not the first truck GM build.

A few flaws...ok...that's the nature of things. But there are just to many.

I tried to search for it, but couldn't find anything. Does anyone know what "Perform Recall 13257 BCM Reprogram" is for?

Had my truck in for clicking/poping/moving seat issue and they performed that recall while it was in the shop. What did it fix?

2014 Silverado Crew Cab w/Navigation. I noticed that my onboard Navigation will drown out an ONSTAR call, meaning that the NAV's voice will talk over the ONSTAR operator. The Dealer said that they know nothing about this and don't know of a fix. Anyone know about this issue?

pclay,

Hey there! I am sorry to learn that you are experiencing an issue with your Navigation system on your vehicle. I understand that you have been to the dealership but have you tried to contact Infotainment General Support at 855-478-7767? If you have, I would like to assist you with this concern. Could you please private message me with your contact information, VIN, current mileage, and preferred dealership?

Regards,

Jennifer T.

Welp, my Sierra has now been at the dealership since Monday. This is the second time it has returned for the same code(p0141). They replaced my secondary o2 sensor. I didn't make it out of the lot before the light came on again. They are now going to replace the ECM and "see" if that fixes the problem. I'm really agitated that I've owned my sierra for 10 days and only driven it for 5 of those days. They get one more chance before I claim the Lemon Law. The state of MS states it has to have the same issue 3 times unresolved and the vehicle has to be out of service for 15 business days. I hope they fix it.

Outside Temperature 24 degrees F this morning. Remote Start did not turn on the Heated Seats. GM insists that they are working properly. How cold does it have to get GM?
