Went in on a partnership with a "friend" on a ski boat once. Said friend dissapeard never to bee seen again...nice.

Sold an original, non rebuilt Springfield mfg. M1 Garand once, beautiful condition.......stupid.

Sold my Original Pre-64 Winchester Model 70 in .30-06. Most accurate sporting rifle in that caliber I have ever fired.

At 200 yards on sandbags it would shoot an inch with plain old Remington 180gr. Corelokts. No glass bedding, trigger work

or anything....damn.

And then an almost........ I needed money so pawned my Pre-64 Model 70 Express rifle in .375 H&H. The time was up to get it back and I didn't have the money. My Dad knew something was bothering me so he kept prying untill I fessed up. "Get in the car, we are going to get your damn rifle" he said and away we went. The loan was for a lousy 600.00 bucks but it was 6 bones I didn't have at the time.

Credit card debt. Made the mistake of thinking I would pay it off and then everytime I would pay some off I would go ahead and buy something else, and it wouldn't go down. I have a steady job and am making an stronger effort to stop buying gun stuff, that killed me. Along with airfare and a rental car for a wedding trip to San Diego. That certainly didn't help. I could pay it all off but keeping saving accounts in good standing are better for me, I think.

Buying the truck and not trying to get it cheaper wasn't a very good move either. Once this debt is gone and truck is paid it will be great.

at one point i owed 20k on a line of credit and 20k on a visa LOL. missed 1 visa payment when i was 19, now all is paid and in good standing always. worked my credit score from a low 600 to a 745 in 5 years. now the last couple years i get approved for the best rates with everything for anything.

I did was any 18-20 year old would do making over 100k a year, i blew money hard. toys, partying and trucks among other things. blew a ton of cash i shouldnt have ended up barely making minumum payments, took me 5 years to get my head out of the water. Now i have excellent credit score so i dug myself even deeper with a mortgage ahah...

i think everybody does something stupid at some point, just be careful with credit. dont abuse it youll be fine!
