Ryan, if I read that right it does not show an Extended Cab or as I noticed they called it a Double Cab in the 2500/3500 trucks. I know that they don't sell many or at least I don't see many extended cab trucks. Just thought that it was kinda strange.

Apparently since they did away with the clam shell opening doors they decided to change the name to "double cab".

 

I have mixed feelings about this. I'm an extended cab guy and I kinda like the option of opening up the entire side of the cab without having to work around a door, but at times it would be nice to not have to open the front doors to allow the rear doors to open, too. My next truck will be a "double cab" and most likely the GMC so I can get a 6.5' box without the extra overall vehicle length.
