Hey guys, I'm off to college soon so I'm looking for ways to get an extra 1-3 mpg and I was wondering if removing the body lift in my truck and moving down to a little smaller tires would get me what I need. Also, what size tires would you guys suggest? Would 33's be awkward looking on a 6inch lift?

Edit: Or 295/70's but would I see enough of a difference if I did that?

you'd be better off buying a beater civic for $1500 rather then dumping money into your truck and changing around to gain maybe 2mpg which you dont even know if youd get that...

anyway, how much body lift do you have? you have only a 6inch susp lift in your sig. assumung you have a 3' Bl too you could remove that and run 33's.. many people who lift their trucks will say 33's look bad on a 6" lift.. but they dont. IMO

It's a 1.5in Body lift, I put it in there just to get the 35's to stop rubbing, but they still do.. Another reason why I'm kind of leaning towards going to a little smaller tire. I also miss how snappy my truck was with the smaller tires on so that's kind of another good reason to get smaller tires. I put 4.10's in my truck but it's still not the same. Anyway, I was thinking about some 295/70's or 60's depending on the rim size. I just don't wanna spend the money and gain no MPG, no snap, and the tires still rub..

csparks truck looks great with 33's.. that stance amazing

I appreciate it man, I only had those 33's on for a few days before switching back to 35's though. Truck ran better with the smaller tires, however it needed bigger IMO.

Sig pic is back on 35's to give you an idea

I might try to talk to some of the tire shops around here and see if they can just slap on some 33's to give me an idea, I'd rather pay 50 extra dollars to make sure I make the right choice then over a grand on tires and not like em. The BDS kit is a little smaller than a true 6in is it not?
