SO, during the tune process, I reaaly try to engrain in my wife the importance of using highest octane from reputable stations. So I finished the process a month ago and my wife had to gas it up. I sent a message in the morning remind her to use hi octane. I got a reply in the afternoon that's she put in 87, she didn't know we still have to use higher octane. Thought you only needed high octane while it was being programmed, not after it was done. I can't understand her logic.

 

I know I explained the reason to her on multiple occasions, but of course she denies.it.

I'm not a big octane freak really, I put in the grade that has the least/no ethanol. Usually 87 or 89. I have run 91 octane for a few tanks and noticed no real difference, other it made my wallet lose weight faster. I can understand your frustration in trying to run it for your tune and then having the lady screw it up though!!!

Simmer down, my wife does not care about vehicles at all, parks too close to everything, hits curbs, etc so yes hers stays stock, all moldings stay on to try and save from dings, stock size blackwall tires.

 

She doesn't drive my truck mostly because she doesn't want to hear me bitch if she get's it dirty. She knows how anal I am about it and just avoids it. She is affraid to go near my Harley cuz she knows if she gets a fingerprint on it I will be in the garage all night cleaning it

Chevron around here is crap, used 76.

 

But will also use E85, depends on prices.
