LED Fog Lights.

About a week ago i got an email from KBcarstuff for some new to market LED fog bulbs. Since I am loving every LED mod i do i figured why not and try them before i spend much more on a HID upgrade for them instead. I finally got a chance to install today.

I did not get any night pics yet, But the day time pics show just how much whiter they are and brighter.

Will update soon with night pics.

Here is the comparison shot.

i got the 6000k color.

The bulb that i got in mail looked different for the base than that pic, but matched factory base. so it must just be a stock picture up on there. I gotta say He shipped them extremely fast, and excellent communication / emails.

Went out and got some pics. They appear to be very bright, but it dosent help that where my truck is parked on side of house is about 1-1/2 ft higher than the groiund i was standing on. The true test will be going for a drive. I will update later on about that. The idea tho of having LED bulbs in a fog housing is awesome. My old truck always seemed to burn thru the fogs cause i run them all the time. With these they are cheaper than HID's and similar color and output.

Id like to know more about the light output once you go for a drive. I bought some led's for my fogs from ebay a few years ago, and they were worse than the stock ones so I would like to know if these are better.

It seems all the LED replacement bulbs look bright when you look at them head on, but don't project a useful beam. Let's see a pic that shows a useful light pattern from the driver's perspective.

Looks like a nice and inexpensive mod. I can't really tell but it looks like the 5000k is not quite as bright but not quite as blue either. Going to try silverstar ultra bulbs, thinking the 5000k might match a little better. Thoughts?
