I just Spoke to my Local BDS/Zone dealer I have been convinced. $2080 Zone 5" installed or $2500 for 6.5" BDS installed. its a no brainer BDS...... going to have to delay install another 2 weeks so I have all the $$$ )

I'd definitely go with the BDS man. Its a true 6 inch lift, especially the clearance wise.

and 420 dollar difference is a no brainer, he said its about 2 inch higher and no torsion bars showing. I think my warranty will be voided on my front end though.

thats a great price.. and no t-bars showing is the only way to go, when they stick out 1 foot under the truck it looks terrible.

I'm liking the lift a lot. Gas mileage does suck. I definitely need gears & a re-tune!
All my friends love how it looks & everything.

I need gears too, mines a dog. I've been thinking about picking up a newer truck soon though, so I probably won't be putting anymore $ in this one.

do you guys have the 6 spd? I think I will be ok with the 6 spd and the 6.0 3.73 rear , with 34.5" tire will be 3.46 effective ratio

I have the 4 speed 5.3 with 3.73's, IMO you will be fine with your setup.

Gears are a expensive but so nice to have. I need to do a BB tune and stop putting it off.

I think the 6l90 has a pretty low 1st gear I stayed away from the 37 because my boat is about 5500 on the trailer the Big block and Bravo drive added 500lbs when I upgraded from a 350 alpha. Lots of Hills in central NY
