My latest project was our homemade car trailer that my Father & Grandfather built back in the early 90s...We loaned it to a family friend to use for his truck pulling truck...2 years later it was finally returned to us, Electric Brakes didnt work, All the lights were broken off/Mismatching, wheel bearings were full of water...Tool box on the front was a mess with grease smeared all inside of it.

 

I ordered all brand new brakes for it, pulled all wheel bearings out, cleaned, regreased and replaced seals and reassembled. Sanded and repainted whole trailer and put all brand new LED Lights on it.

That's a unique family heirloom. It's cool that you were able to restore it. Nice job by you.

Very nice!, Im working on a small trailer myself... The frame is metal and the deck and sides are wood.

I have a few... 20 foot jonboat was the project before I went back to school. Need to do bearings over spring break, maybe take a run on the river with it if it's warmer.
