tryin to level my truck out and possibly have a little to spare in case ya know, i know the different color keys and stuff and while messing with mine tonight inoticed it had green paint on the bottom of the keys. they should be the ones that are indexed the most but after maxing them out and driving it down the road and back i only got a ittle over an inch and a half of lift. it looks alot better but the measuring tape dont lie..... just to make sure im gonna do the right thing, the only way to get a true level sense the green keys wont level it is to get lift keys? right? just gettin another opinion along with mine before i do something i dont need to to or anything. and btw it is on a 04 gmc sierra 1500.

all trucks are different, but my stock keys cranked all the way up did not level my truck. i bought new 3" keys from fat bobs garage and i got my truck to be level and i could still raise it about 1 inch higher in the front if i wanted.

Yep, if your factory keys are maxed out....and still didn't level it....then new, re-indexed keys are your only option (unless you want to spend the coin on an actual suspension lift). Just don't expect it to ride like a caddy when you're done, haha.

I just don't know which keys to go with. I like the zone keys and some others RReady lift are just too pricey to me. What would yall suggest?

06: what size tires are u running with ur lift?

I still run the stock 265/70R17 size tire.

keys are keys.... you can go wrong with any name brand.
