Thinking about trading my Dmax

The dealer located me an Avalanche (finally). Appearantly most dealers aren't willing to give them up because the order period is over and what is left and what they build in the next few weeks is all there will be.

He found me exactly what I wanted with the exception it has the chrome wheels instead of the polished wheels ($700 option). I suppose I don't really have a problem with that...

Other than the wheels, the options I wanted were LTZ Black Diamond Edition, White diamond tricoat paint, Ebony perforated heated/cooled leather, power sunroof, HD trailer package and integrated brake controller. NAV and all the other stuff is standard on an LTZ. My supplier pricing and the rebate saved me a little over 5 grand off of sticker.

He will have the truck here tomorrow sometime...

I've noticed that a lot of Avalanche owners I know are repeat buyers so I'd say that's gotta tell you something.

Here is a pic of it after a 70 mile trip from the dealer trade. It was filthy from driving in Pennsyvania snow and slush. I told the dealer I wanted mud flaps installed... The oddometer is showing 84 miles and the build date is 12/12

Looks like I wil pick it up Tuesday. I will miss the power and sound of the Duramax, but will love the size and versatillity of the new Avalanche. I can't wait till summer to try out the "cooled" seats!
