What's easier to resale?

Recommended Posts

I would think they would retain most of their price premium that you initially pay when you buy the truck.  I would say that it would be similar to an extended cab always retaining most of that extra money that was spent when it was first purchased.  Or a 4x4 too, same thing...

If you don't really need the extra load capacity and stability of the dually, then I wouldn't get one.  When you need tires you will have to buy 6 instead of 4.  Rotating the tires is a big task too unless you don't use the inner dual in the rotation.  And duallies tend to get worse fuel milage because of the extra rolling and wind resistance.  The unladen ride will be harsher than that of a 2500HD too.

also, a dually often is a pain to park (not enough space in conventional parking spots)

as to the resale value: you should get your money back, but I do not think they depreciate slower than SRW's
