Just won an LBZ on ebay with 104,000 miles for $3500

Wanted to let you guys know I won an LBZ with only 104,000 Its an 06 and comes with everythin

It made sense to go this way VS spending more then 3500 to build the 8.1 the way i wanted

And now will have more then enough pwr and TQ to pull whatever camper we come across..

The guy that i met that put an lbz in an 86 chevy 2500 said he would help me put it together

in his shop for like $20 an hr.. Cant wait!

Im just concerned about the allison with over 200,000 on it, Im gonna service it, both filters, dex-6, And see what happens.

I know.. Just the total cost im tryin keep down.

If it will need a rebuild might be cheaper to get the 6 speed

I know.. They make a kit to make a 5sp ally a 6 spd.. but its like $1600

Even then you could probably find a low mile 6 speed for cheaper than the kit and rebuild.

Im still pretty surprised, Ive seen these lbz going for up to $7000 with and without tranny,s

I,ll still have under 10,000 into it so far and seeing what 03-05 d-max trucks are going for im way ahead of the game.
