Eh, not sure you want to service it. The on board systems are programmed to go off Honda service recommendations, if the dealer is resetting it each time it will move on to the next step, assuming that the max time has passed. So on your 4th change the car will think it's ready for a major service(on my Accord it's 3x drain and fill of the transmission, with run time between each one) and then if you don't pay for what they want to change the dealer shows you declined that service down the line if there was a warranty issue. Yes the dates and mileage will show there isn't a problem, but you could easily end up with a headache. The code and manual tell you (when you read the manual) specifically when to do EVERYTHING that needs to be done, trans, brake, coolant, etc not just oil like GMs do. It will say A1, A123, B2 etc and you find the corresponding code in the manual. A few fluids are time centered and not mileage, so you change based on years from last. It has NO lifetime fluids, Honda doesn't play that stupid game like GM did.

Honda calls for synthetic oil so there is NO reason to change after 3000 miles, they even design their filter to flow too freely that it gradually fills over two years, to keep maintenance costs down. (I just replace it yearly with a high end restrictive filter)

Monitor says 10%. Don’t know the last time it was serviced. I bought it with 40%. I’m not driving 80 miles for that dealer to service it for free. Either they forgot to reset or it needed service. I drove to much to let it go. Peace of mind. Also the things wants me to flush brake fluid. They can slobble on my knob if they think I’m paying for that.

Well yeah if it's 10% by all means. But if they tell you to come back in 3k it'll be at 60%-80% depending on the calculations.

They didn’t tell me anything. I’m just changing oil before I tack on another 1000 miles this week. It wants brake fluid flushed. See above post

The motive bleeder worked great on my car. And on my Accord the bleeder screws were very easy to access just as it sits. Only problem was this bleeder had some crap somewere in it, I don't remember ever needing to clean the first one I got and sold years ago. When I took the Mazda in for the 3 year service they advisor was confused why the fluid was so clean., [anyone that does DIY on modern Mazdas, the GM adapter (closest fit motive makes) isn't snug on the Mazdas, so don't hit 30psi or you'll have a nasty mess.]

Holy crap, man! Glad your kid is ok! Must've been a button battery, I'm guessing, and not a AA?

No AA but then again, the way he eats....

It was an ag13. He told my wife he wondered how it tasted.

He is fine, should be out soon.

On another note, I guess I accidently tapped on an ad, and this atrocitiy popped up. What the heck were they thinking. It looks so out of place.
