I'm on the third pump and with the first two we hardly ever let it get below a quarter full. I think it's a lottery or other unknown variables.

The filter was replaced at the same time as this pump, out of common sense.

My tranny went out at 198k without a single warning. I was on the way to school one morning, got off the freeway and was stopped at a red light, and when I tried to accelerate it was the end.

Although my dad managed to drive (crawl) her home since I believe it was first fear that couldn't engage. $1,200 later she was back in action (included a new rear main seal).

It's a lottery like the fuel pump. I met a gentleman with a 2000 Silverado identical to mine with over 300k and still on original tranny, engine, fuel and water pump, etc. The truck was in amazing condition aesthetically too, he was retired and travelled between California and Arizona so it had zero rust and a lot of highway miles.

Safelite got here around 2:30 to replace my rear window. He has it out now.

I went out to have a look, and he said it's been replaced before. He said the seal job is pretty bad, and the window was sticking out further on one side versus the other. I believe him because I found broken glass in the back when I had the interior out of the truck.

Alot can happen in 10 years. Could've been broken into when the previous owner had it, or broken by the dealer while doing other warranty work when it was new.

Dealer smashed my truck on the passenger side from bumper to bumper while attempting to fix my brake pulsation for the 4th time or so (lost count actually ... ). Lot tech must've been used to his Prius, and forgot he was driving an extended cab pickup. Unreal! Starting to see their bandaid bodywork reveal itself on the plastic bumper corner now.

Was just going to take a picture of it, but forgot the wife has it today. Trying to get a drive cycle to complete, so had her take it to work 70 miles round trip. We'll see what the ECU says when she gets home.

Got to take the Grand Marquis today. My A/C job is paying dividends today! It's 90° out and about 65% humidity in the shade. Thing was freezing me out! Had to turn the fan down. 40° vent temps. :)

The Camaro's air conditioner has been doing good once I let out all the freon I added that one day but it wasn't working well for some reason. It seems a little quirky though so I might go ahead and replace the pressure sensor if I have another problem since I did have to clean it out to get the compressor to run that first day.

I saw a new Forte5 on the highway, those things look pretty good going down the road

I keep hearing about how with the internet there are so many great work at home jobs. Does anyone actually know of any?

Pretty much everything advertised is a scam. There are certain jobs that allow you to work from home obviously but seeking out a work from home job can be difficult. I read somewhere that Apple for example does tech support in a unique way- once hired, you're issued an iMac and iPhone and conduct support from home.

Yeah, that's how the manufacturer of our system at work does it. All the techs work from home, they're always in their PJ's lol
