They said that there was a bad roll of tint and 3 cars were sold before they found out there, they said they didn't know which cars have you had that specific roll of tint used, so now they hope that I'm the last. Sounded like they had to retint several cars that were on the lot after they found out.

The neighbors Dodge came home yesterday on a rollback for the second time in 2 weeks. The last time it was the drivers side wheel bearing. This time it had the passenger side wheel off of it on the rollback so I'm assuming it's the passenger side wheel bearing this time.

You gonna run the tractor in Parades?

Idk we usually just use it around here

Here are more, with and without flash, and an inside view. A guy on the Accord site, who does tinting wondered if my windows were dirty(Fair question since the internet is rampant with idiots). So that's two tinter's that are surprised.

Second pic should kind of give away its a tint problem

Was gonna say that it looked like bad tint or what they used as an adhesive

How many gallons are left in the tank when the low fuel light turns on? This isn't new but I have noticed that when I'm pretty low on fuel and I happen to put the truck in neutral the light turns on, then turns off later. And at that point it's a line or two from the empty.

I believe around 3 or 4 gallons depending on fuel tank size. The 32 gallon tanks are like 6 or 8 gallons left I believe, not for certain though bc our one work van with the 32 gal tank has a bad gas gauge stepper motor lol

I tend to get pretty close to the point of the low fuel light and if it's turning on prematurely then my mpg calculations might be off? My usual fill ups are about 20 gallons.

It may vary some by year even, mine comes on when I need to put in 22 gallons or so. Wish it had the big 35 gallon tank like my 1990. One of the few things I'd change since I don't like to get under a half tank and do some remote drives.

Well, some 100mph winds just really jacked up that playset I built last fall for my kids. Not home yet so I don't know what can be fixed, but my wife sent a pic of it upside down, the swing set part folded up, and she said the smaller of two slides and the money bars were bent and ripped off the mounts

I've got a 26 gallon tank on the Silverado. If the light comes on when towing, I have about 30 miles max before she leaves me dead on the side of the road, give or take, no matter how easy I go on it. To me that translates to 2 gallons or less. I always carry a 6 gallon jug in the bed, full to the brim. It's saved me several times.

I always seem to run out just feet before the NJ line where the fuel is the cheapest ...

One time I ran out in the middle of nowhere in western NY. I had been on a eBay run for some Yamaha BW80s - picked up 4 that trip. Anyway, this was my last one, number 4, so headed out to find the highway ... and hopefully a gas station. Well, I found a gas station - been closed for over a year! So eventually I ran out, totally unprepared. Had no funnel, no gas, no can, nothing! So I rolled up a motorcycle brochure I got from some dealer - there's my funnel. Grabbed the BW with the most fuel in the tank, and drained it into my glass Starbucks Frappuccino coffee container (only 9.5 oz.) and went back and forth dumping it in my tank. Saved my ass! Got me to the next gas station. :)

not good for the fuel pump to be running your tank down that low? At least that was the rule of thumb when the GMT-800s I remember from on here from years ago.

That's been around since the very first FI cars rolled off the assembly line in '85-'86. Guess the first ones (and a few afterward) had zero tolerance to pumping air. I think I've run the truck completely out 6 or 7 times over the years. Pump is a little noisy, but it's still going, surprisingly. I figured with the way they build stuff today I was doomed the first couple times. I was surprised the truck restarted after adding fuel.

I think most people's tanks are pretty much spotless. Only way they'll get crap in there is from doing what I do - dumping unfiltered fuel from a bunch of different sources in the tank. If someone only gets fuel straight from the pump, I would bet after several years it would only amount to a small dark spot on a napkin.

When I'm home, I dump old gas out of mowers or weedwackers through a few wire mesh coffee filters before it hits the funnel into the tank. Keeps a majority of the heavy crap out.

The way I figure, the pump is going to fail long before the buildup in the tank will pose a problem. I'll clean it out when it does. :)
