Body shop said they should be able to get me back in my truck by Friday hopefully. Seriously hope so because I'd love to have it for the holiday weekend

Just use the f250

Haven't had it for almost a month now, been driving a work van back and forth. Insurance covered up to $1000 but that's it, so that lasted 2 weeks lol

On a side note our 02 Express van we use to tow a trailer everyday has almost 300k miles on it. Burns oil like that's it's job (2 quarts every 500 miles when towing, no BS) but it has A/C so cold you can see your breathe while sitting there. It's insane. I wish car manufacturers would learn how to make their systems that efficient these days. It's easily below 40 degree vent temps on a 90 degree day. The van is a tank with the old iron head/ iron block 350 strapped with a 4L80E and 11.5" 3.73 14 bolt out back. Has yet to let us down

Yeah, I was sad to see GM didn't share all the truck AC parts with the cars. I was really hoping my Camaro AC would be truck grade. They put way too much windshield on those 4th gens, the huge dash is basically a heat soak. Even with 30 degree vent temps you can STILL feel the dash from the driver seat. Started understanding why you see some with the stupid looking windshield tint Edited by SnakeEyes

Party in the rape van

It is a little creepy looking. Paint starting to peel off real bad now so it's rusting in those spots, the grille is all tore up from rocks and other road debris. Oh well, at least my ass won't be sweating when I get in it

I've driven the newer vans with the 6.0. I like em. Get way better traction than you'd expect from something like that.

The 6.0 and 6 speed is a beast of a combo as well. Have it in 2 of 3 box trucks and even with the big 16 and 17 foot boxes on the back, those trucks still shit n' get up the road. Could only imagine how they feel in a smaller express cargo van chassis.

Ok, so some OEM VATS keys for GM were made by/for Briggs and Stratton.

Surprised me. But here I have the two uncut GM VATS keys I ordered, and both have Curtis Industries text, but one bag is Strattec(as most "new unopened" ones are on ebay), and one is "original Briggs and Stratton Service Parts". Both bags have matching PNs also. (Well, both have two PNs, but one on each bag match).

Found this

I had to wait at night to drive my 96 gmc.

80F outside was 124 in the cabin.

tackled the a/c assuming to be very disappointed like all a/c tackling I have committed to..

holy cow.

it is impressive.

no regrets fixing that up..

now with "nasa qwik boost technology." :)
