Yikes, sorry to hear that! Saw some of the footage on The Weather Channel. Those poor people out there.

 

First TX, and now WV just got hammered with floods, and we're in a drought up here. Not a great year so far.

We had a few weeks of non stop 'naders(the cyclone, not the Ralph) and then nothing for 6 weeks. We had an extra cool spring and extra hot early summer. Been wierd everywhere. A month ago my yard was under water, now the ground is cracked. Solar Cycles!

We're having a mix of fall, and California-like weather. Earlier this month, we had a few mornings close to the upper 30's.

 

Today it was 84° and only 38% humidity - dew point was in the upper 50's! Unheard of this time of year up here. Couldn't ask for better weather!

well my lovely paint on my truck that Iv mentioned in the past is chipping and cracking is getting even worse. I finally heard back from GM of Canada and they said that there's nothing they can do. My truck still has bumper to bumper warranty remaining but guess it doesn't cover there crappy paint so I'm thinking I should lawyer up.

Yeah, but any firefighters around if they get a little too hot.....

 

 

I lost my spare key, tested the resistance and ordered two spares(found a guy with 2 for $9 each, uncut OEM in packaging).

 

And 30 minutes later I found them caught in wiring next to my seat. Oh well, they were the cheapest on eBay by $3 so I can at least make a buck sometime

One thing about ammo and fire - everyone thinks they'll get shot just like out of a barrel of a gun when they cook off, but in reality, there's no confined space (chamber & barrel) to channel the blast right on the projectile. With open space all around, it fires off, but with 100x less velocity - you could lose an eye, but the rounds wouldn't even break your skin.

 

We had some crazy parties when I was younger ... and we all lived.

Anyone want my factory airbox from my Tahoe? Going in the trash Monday night, you just pay shipping. I'm guessing $35~ for cheap n slow, it's not small.
