Went to the doc today since the pain from getting smashed by the box Monday got worse. Muscle relaxers, pain meds, and doctors note to not be at work until the 2nd. I'm getting real tired of this missing work crap. 5 days in 2 weeks for a cold and now at least 3 days for this. Most people seem happy to be off work, why am I the opposite?

Being off of work for pleasure is one thing but being out because you have to is another.

At my office people just strive to retire so they can escape, complaining every day how stupid the policy are for 25 years, then once the get to the age they stick around for years longer. Theory is the places literally drives us so insane we think it's good to stay. Although the way my work is you can literally retire within a few days or weeks notice so some stay to get their revenge on managers, and once the managers start losing it there is a quick escaped before they get canned.

 

 

It can get quite entertaining when the really bitter and scarastic guys are just insulting and hounding their bosses every day. Although I transferred to a more low key city, so I'm probably going to miss that entertainment.

The hourly and management interactions here can be quite entertaining. The really bitter people annoy me. I'm one of the super sarcastic and quite assholish guys, I get away with it because I do my job well and generally can be relied on. I think management sometimes like that I harass the part time supervisors, saves them the trouble and I'm normally right in what I'm harassing them about anyway. Not that that matters, we don't fire people, management goes through all the trouble/hassle and the union gets the person's job back so most don't even bother trying anymore. After about 10-15 years you're pretty much stuck with the company unless you want to take a pay cut and lose benefits. We've got people that have been driving for 40 years.

Well I got literally got stuck in my office today I spend more time in this sprayer in the spring time and had to sit and wait few hours so the boss could free up one of our big JD four wheel drives.

But this sprayer loaded with 1200 gallons of spray was nothing for our oldest 510HP JD to yank out. Thanks to my Mexican buddy that comes all the way from Mexico up here to Dodsland Saskatchewan Canada for the season. One of the dam hardest more honest person IV ever worked with don't know why the States hates Mexicans so much dam he's great to have around.

The vast majority of LEGAL immigrants are the biggest haters of illegals. They spend years and thousands doing it the right way and can't stand the people that don't. That's one thing the news outlets like to skip over. They always find the biggest backwoods red neck to interview.

 

Only idiots have problems with people who do it the legal way. Here in the southern states we have stories upon stories of illegals who do something bad or horrible and just disappear since there is no paper trail.

Ya well we have to deal with the natives here in Canada. Dam IV tried to get an American citizen ship but they give a guy so many dam hoops to jump through. Canada is getting so communist is just stupid. Dam I'd be honored to fight for the USA my Canadian government wouldn't except me in our millitary cause technically I only have my grade 9 completed (dam was I mad about them not giving me a chance) but there missing the entire picture that I was kicked out at 14 and lived on the streets and I couldn't afford to stay in school but still turned out decent.

Seems there are forces out there trying to convert the entire world to communism/socialism. Can you believe there's an avowed socialist running for the presidency of the USA?? AND he has FOLLOWERS!! They don't even care about all the blood that's been shed for this land over the course of 240 years. They're ready to just give it all away. I can't even believe it ...

 

My grandparents & our Founders are rolling in their graves right now. I didn't think in my worst nightmares I'd ever see America come to this stage ...

Took a trip to upstate NY to pick up some equipment for work, luckily there are two of us so it makes the 14 hour plus round trip a lot less boring, headed back now. Fun fun in a box truck lol

One trip to NY left me $135 lighter in the wallet ... for not wearing a friggin seat belt! WTF. I almost didn't pay it ... but I have to pass through that cesspit to get out of New England!

Went out today to run some errands. Ended up picking up a new set of bluetooth headphones since I needed them. Originally $150 at best buy, price matched wally world to $126 and I had a $25 gift card so walked out for $108 after tax. Supposed to be really nice. My other LG headset are the tone pro's which have lasted me 2 years but the right headphone is going in and out so figured time for a new set

 

 

Oh and can't forget the damage that was done. Some woman in her cr-v was texting and swerved about halfway into my lane. I shouldered the truck and scraped a plastic mailbox. Big dent and nice gouge into the paint. Just can't win with this truck I swear. Now it's really time to take her into the body shop

 

 

Most of that is plastic residue so it's not as bad as it seems lol

Another one of my 3TB hard drives is failing. I think I might be able to pull the stuff off of this one. It's pretty sad that I have a program that monitors my hard drives and does alerts when they're messed up, but I hear the alert and don't know wtf that sound was for lol. At this point I might as well go ahead and grab the stuff off the other 3TB hard drive, it'll probably start failing like the other 2 knowing my luck.

 

Well my left pointer finger has been tingling for 2+ 3 days now. Went to the ER on Friday and they took xrays. Apparently my spine is disintegrating lol. Hopefully my normal doctor will see me tomorrow and we'll figure out a plan of what to do. I wonder if I'll go to the same specialists that fixed my back 6 years ago.

 

On the bright side Game of Thrones tonight! :-D
