I wish I had used my brain more earlier today and remembered that my range does one of their monthly shotgun (skeet/trap) range qualifications after the ICORE Matches. Match was this morning, didn't go to it, but I was there this afternoon for an RSO meeting. Would have been real convenient to go get my qualification back.

Buddy's dad has that exact wooden box I think.

The box is actually my brothers. I might get one of my own because it's pretty nice. I also need to get a choke. I have a turkey choke in mine because it's all they sold in my area when I bought the gun. I can't hit a clay pigeon to save my life. Haha!

I bought a choke a couple years ago to go quail "hunting." Tried changing it out there and couldn't get it out. Fast forward a year or more and I'm moving stuff around in my closet and hear a rattling from the shotgun box....extra chokes were in it. Fail.

Lol! Wow, that sounds like my luck too.

Got around to installing my 2 5TB drives I bought last week. Should hold me over for a year or two depending on how long until the other 2 3TBs die like the first one. Going to be annoying getting those tv shows and comics back if I get the ambition to try.

Had to do some troubleshooting to our '93 Volvo 940 today. First time it's given us trouble in 12k miles. Was having an intermittent stalling issue, so I threw my fuel pressure gauge on and went for a cruise. The nipple is under the car, instead of under the hood. Managed to get the door to lightly latch and hold it in place while I drove.

Luckily it died 5 miles up the road - fuel pressure went from 45 to 20. Tried cranking on the fly, and it dropped to zero. Tried a few more times as I coasted a bit. Had to let it sit, key off, for about a minute, then the pressure popped back up to normal, and it fired right up. Died on me a mile later - same deal. Got home eventually, and swapped out the FP relay out of the parts Volvo. The date on the one from the parts car was '04. The suspect one was dated September '92. Went for a 16 mile ride without a hiccup. Hope that fixed it!

Consoles.. Peasants haha. It would be nice if I dealt with 720. I aim for 1080 as much as I can. 42 minute TV show can reach 4 gigs. Thank you bright house for not having data caps.

AT&T came around again the other day trying to peddle their direct TV and Internet crap. I told her until AT&T gets rid of their caps I won't even consider them, plus this is Florida satellite is useless. She did say she liked my door bell. However I doubt she knew it was playing Dixie.

Do you really have AMD stock? That was one of the companies I was going to invest in once I get all my other stuff settled. Just for s&gs because "AMD is for poor people."

PC is great. Console I like cause I buy it once and I don't need to customize. I played PC and always will prefer it. Eq. Wow. Cs. Unreal 2004

Was this a "honey, will you" or a "honey, did you get bored again".

Haha! This was a "honey, did you get bored again". Being laid off gives me plenty of free time so I find things like this to do. I need more parts before I can go any further on the truck.

At 1030am my wife said they weren't working on the roof today. Between 1030am and 1100, I'm texting with a guy at the company saying they were going to be safe and not start up again today(chance of rain). Just found out at 1035am, they started roofing. My wife thinks they just finished.

Good deal. My porch roof just got it's first test today. A little over a quarter inch of rain fell this morning. Was coming down pretty good for a while there. Water is flowing nicely off the roof - no ponding like I suspected. Very small areas of ponding - less than 1/8" deep and maybe a foot across. Very happy with how it all turned out.

Spent the past 3 days taking out the seats, carpet, pads, and a bit of trim on my 12 Duramax CC. Washed the heck out of the outside and inside. Power washed the carpet as well down at the carwash. The man who owned the truck before me probably worked as a contractor or supervisor out in the oil fields of Wyoming and Colorado and Nebraska. The inside was extremely dusty and somewhat muddy and dirty. The dealer did their best to clean what they could with just the basic cleaners they have, but I wanted to get the carpet and seats out to give it a good cleaning. I also addressed a few small specs of rust forming from the wear of getting in and out of the truck. Been letting everything dry out well and got the front seats put back in last night and will finish the rest tomorrow. Got some rain in Denver today so nice to have a break.
