Bought an Alien Gear IWB holster for my P229 since i at minimum need a holster for the "class". Doesnt matter what kind, but might as well get one ill regularly use.

They are nice holsters. I have an IWB and recently bought an alien gear OWB.

That's funny cause I just ordered one last night as well for my new Glock 43. Love my alien gear holster for my Springfield Mod 2, should serve it's purpose even better with a lighter handgun

I started with a leather belt but due to the weight of my Springfield I purchased a 5.11 tactical gun belt. The thickness of the gun belt helps spread the weight over my entire waist, but I wore my leather belt for close to 6 months, about 4 times a week with no issue besides having to wear it really tight to keep from drooping

Not sure I use a Columbia leather belt no matter with or without the holster

For leather belts http://www.thebeltman.net/www/htdocs/index.htmlare highly rated. I liked mine but I've gotten too fat for it and my weight fluctuates too much.

 

For infinitely adjustable belts http://www.thewilderness.com/tactical-belts/is what I've been using for the last couple years. I've got a regular regular 5 stitch and a lined one.

 

I might have to try these alien holsters one day, I keep hearing about them quite often. My Don Humes and High Noon Holsters are still going strong though.
