couple random questions

On my '06 silverado the trim level is on the C pillar (whatever that last one is) on my '09 sierra it's not there. Is there any visual way to figure out what trim level it is. If I look hard enough I could probably find the window sticker still but just curious if anyone knows offhand. Watch it be on the door jamb or something where I haven't looked yet lol. Maybe in the vin?

An oddball question; anyone know what the average/normal winch rating is on a flatbed tow truck? It's peak season and work "forbids" parking in the grass yet a lot of people do it. Every now and then they actually tow people. Last year I saw a flatbed make easy work of a lifted 1500 just dragging it through the grass and up onto the flatbed. Just wondering if it would be just as easy for my crew cab 8' bed 3500 to be dragged off. I did find out recently that one of the tow companies in the area that AAA uses couldn't tow my 2500HD with their F350, which was surprising to me.

I finally saw the 2016 Silverados in person yesterday, and I still have mixed feelings. There was one in all white and color matched that looked like a storm trooper.

I'm not sure if the front end matches the rear, which is how I felt about the 2003+ gmt800.
