Haha I wish that would work. Not only would I be annoyed with a strip of black tape I'd be annoyed because I know what it's attempting to hide. Sometimes I hate how anal about things I am. The exterior can look like poop, but god forbid something mechanically is off. Apparently I get to learn how to change rotars and pads on a shitstain this weekend too. I wonder which one of his 4 that he owns he's replacing those on.

My truck was having pretty bad cold start ups for the past weeks once we began dipping into the 50's and 40's, and now that we're in the 30's she's doing a lot better.

 

The only difference that I can think of is the fuel. For a few weeks I was filling up with 89 from Quicktrip, and that's whenever startups were super "groggy" and had knock. The CEL even popped up for a day or two!

 

I'm back on 91 from Costco and while cold morning startups aren't perfect they're muuch better.

We're getting hammered at work this year. They should have opened up another shift like they did last year. Love how they somehow didn't learn from last year about renting more equipment. Tried to say we wouldn't need it this peak season, someone higher up found out that there wasn't any intention of getting the equipment, chewed people out, and equipment was ordered. Best part they aren't set up correctly, they don't have hitches attached to them so we can't tow our irreg tubs. Endless fun and it's still only the 1st week of December. Christmas week is going to be brutal. What can Brown do for you :-p

You work for UPS? I feel bad for any package delivery drivers, this time of year they work easily 12+ hour days usually 6 days a week

So got my car stuck and decided I'd use my z71 to pull it out instead of firring up the 620 quad track. I had my nabour in the car I was in my truck and soon as rope tighten up I was spinning WTF the truck was in 4x4 so I tried putting it in auto and in 4lo but still nothing hell I only had one tire fire and my truck is suppose to have a locker in the rear end. I ended up using the big quad track tracker to pull everything out. Im a little up set about it. So I did some trouble shooting and when jacked up with all four tires off the ground 4x4 works but soon as you put the truck back on the ground it won't work any ideas I'm over hour away from closest GM dealer and have no way of getting back from the dealer if I drop it off.

I only deliver Saturdays and legally drivers can't work 12+ for 6 days. Max DOT hours is 60 in a week which includes non driving work. I do know non drivers that put in 50-80 hours this week. "Peak" season hours wise can get pretty nuts. Normally at my hub we do mon-fri but we're behind so there will be a shift tomorrow which means for those that go in Friday will be all OT since it will be their 6th report. Sometimes I wonder how the company makes any money at all. This week was almost like having a real job, I got 40 hours in the 6 days I worked lol
