I'm still not convinced AFM is the disaster everyone seems to think it is and turning it off is as easy as a tune.

 

Saw a C7 ZO6 w/ZO7 package when I was having lunch yesterday. Sweet car.

I've been back and forth for 15 months with turning on and off the AFM. My truck vibrates with it on and sounds awful with no change in gas mileage . They need to put a switch on the dash to turn it on and off. The only reason I bought a can tune to turn it off, love every thing else with the truck. Just extra stuff to wear out, imo.

Little scared. The rattle can I'm using is shooting a crap ton of paint out, really hard to do it thin and even. I've done projects like this before and its gone really well so hoping this can nozzle doesn't ruin it.

 

Supposed to dry in 15 min. 5 min in the color is looking good.

 

Letting it the first go 30 min. If it dries glossy enough you can see the in even I might finish with semi gloss.

Okay, its going okay. Everything right of the IC is going well, left side is tricky because of the roll bar. Had to smooth it with sand paper and spray again. Might have to do that a few times.

Another tapatalk update. I think i like the UI changes so far. So Yay for that. Another Yay for me is Saturday I picked up a shield in 9mm. Co-worker's second job is at a local gun shop and they are changing out their rentals and selling the old ones. So for $239 out the door I've got a new to me 9mm. Hopefully I can pick up something else from them on the next round of sell offs.

I haven't shot this particular one but my buddy has had his for a year or two so I've shot that a few times. I forgot how big and heavy the shield was, I'm pretty sure it's heavier than my LCR. Yeah its been way too long since I went to the range, even longer since I went for just me and not taking people out there. Also need to get off my butt and start volunteering for range duty so I can hit my 50 hours and get my "free" membership for next year.

Got my BB in person retune today, i cant believe how much faster it is with the 93 tune! They lowered my normal shift pressure which i dont like so i think i'm gonna send my pcm in to fix that, still shifts hard in tow/haul. I cant wait to try my E85 tune [emoji7][emoji7] i went from 75% to 100% T/M in T/H and its night and day
