The Destination AT sucks as well. I had them in 265/75R16. Awful in dry pavement. Horrible in rain, terrible on hard dry dirt

I thought they were great dry. But yes horrible in rain, dirt, mud, snow, grass.

Bridgestone Dueler RVT was a better all around. I replaced them with the Destination and was highly disappointed

Im gonna look into the LTX A/T 265/70/17 LT, or nitto grappler G2 265/70/17LT. I hope they do as well on road as these current tires. Very quiet

Firestone tires suck in general... I had destination at in 285 that were completely worn at 20k miles not to mention performance was horrid and my old 1500 came with LE? I think from the factory and they ride good but they squeal and have horrible performance.. Goodyear is no better. IMO

If I ever pay off my '14.. I'm gonna look into getting a used vette.

I'd like to try a c7 but I have no idea what they'll cost by then. (it's gonna be at least 2 years, probably 3 or 4 at this rate. I chase after it as much as I can though..)

I've owned a 5th gen camaro, c6 vette and test drove a c5. My favorite was the C6 and they're still beautiful cars.. but a c7 just looks more.... exotic. I'd like to shoot for that. But they'll have to get down to the 30s before I'd consider it as a secondary car.

Is it just me or does it seem like the flaws with the 900s are growing exponentially? Really makes me think they are a time bomb. Lots of people dumping them because of things popping it it seems.

Maybe it's just because I visit this forum.

I had a 900 for about 2 years.

I had was a leak in the rear window. It ruined the carpet and started to mold the pad before I even knew it was going on. (at the time I rarely drove the thing.)

Dealer replaced the whole pad and carpet under warranty and fixed the seal.

Another problem I had was oil consumption. I was 1-1.5 qts low at my first oil change and I was getting valve chatter. I found the more you used DOD/AFM the more it would burn.. so I drove the mess out of it and it wouldn't burn oil.

My uncle has a 2010 Yukon with the same problem. Cept he was coming up 3qts short every oil change. He drives like you'd expect a 77 year old to drive though. He said the other day someone was tailgating him and it made him mad so he floored it, after that it stopped burning oil. Good thing too. GM was telling him he needed a whole new motor (kind of absurd yes?) and they weren't going to cover it under warranty.. even tho he has the 100k mile warranty on the powertrain?

I dont think the GMT-900 is a bad truck at all, just.. has some quirks. They all do. All products do...

I used to be sort of an "expert" on Lenovo laptops (T60-420s) and knew every quirk and problem they had. Doesn't mean they're a bad brand. Quite the contrary back when they were IBM (this range was when they were transitioning) it just meant you had to be a little handy sometimes.

Bought a 2inch rise cowl induction hood and chrome headlights and park lights and a crime smoothie front bumper and a crime billit grill and bowtie for my old 1994 Silverado aka Captain Crunch. I'll be installing everything just before harvest as now I have to save up to get the hood and both new front fenders painted and body shops ant cheap. $2000 just to paint the front clip. Frickin ridiculous but selling my 2013 next year so need to spend money on dressing up my old truck so I got something nice to drive when I sell my 2013 Silverado.

Were these wheels from the gmt900 era? I really liked them, and that cc Sierra sle that were on looked great too.

Cool, I think they're one of the best gm designs I've ever seen!

And the truck was an LCI gmt800 sierra cc sle, and a super well maintained example at that. From peeking into the cabin it looked pristine as well.

The spy shots are going around of the new GM trucks. Theory is the front clip will be aluminum, 5.3 gets 8 speed for next year, and everything gets the new 10 speed a few years later. Back looks the same. Hope this trans and fender refresh isn't what they meant by "all new model for MY 2017". Holding GM gets on that Korean style model schedule, major all around updates after 3, all new or almost all new models 3 years later.
