You know you wanna go back though...

[emoji23][emoji23] i know i'm gonna have to call the dealership and at least ask what they want. I'd buy it for no more than 900$. The back bumpers toast, crease in front bumper/hood, some rust on driver side, tear in bench seat. That things a classic! I still love it though [emoji7][emoji7]

I know what you mean...I recently saw this motoski snowmobile for sale and was tempted too...it was nothing special but it was just like one of the first machines I ever rode so...

Yea sometimes you just gotta pull the trigger. Im definitely calling about this tomorrow. Love the tires and seat cushions. Dont know why their in there though. Must have been owned by an older gentleman.

Your looking back with some rose tinted Glass there. I have had a lot of seat time in those with the 94 HP iron duke. Man was that a turd.

I had the iron duke with a 5 speed. Who said i would keep an iron duke in it if i got another. I would probably do a junkyard 4.8

Tip your hat to your mailman still suffering on that chassis with the iron duke and the TH350 3 speed every day. Just wait a few years for those to start getting sold when the USPS replaces them, will get them for pennies. Then make a drag racing mail truck.

 

4.10 or 4.56 in the the back of those standard.

Out here they forced most the Rural Carriers into the older mail trucks to save on what the pay for personal use vehicles. Probably only a matter of time there too.

She was using a peronal vehicle until i think last week

Seen that happen back in NH too. My friend's wife is a letter carrier and she got a mail truck a few years ago.

There's a guy down the road form me that seems to be an S-10 "enthusiast." He's got about 5 trucks in his yard.

 

I envy him.

 

Not cos I like S-10s so much as I just want a ton of project vehicles around to work on. :lol:

 

The new GA tax laws really "grind my gears." Even if I buy a no-motor or transmission truck I have to pay the state a tax on it valued at what the truck would be worth in immaculate condition AND insure it and get a tag within 30 days or I'll face fines and penalties when I DO go to register it.

 

The kicker is.. if the vehicle is newer than 1988 it has to have emissions too.. and with no engine.................. I should note this guy is a stones throw over the county line.. so he doesn't need emissions. If I had a catapult I could siege the neighboring emissions free county. But we need emissions.

 

I called my state senator to complain.. he dismissed my concerns. I will vote for a ham sandwich before I will vote for him again.
