I used to use Royal Purple in the motor of my 08 700R. Seemed to quiet the engine down a good bit. These things make a lot of engine noise for some reason...

I think the Purple power steering fluid I put in was $20 or something. But it is significantly quieter.

People do this all the time in the north. I don't and it's probably not smart but it's not some huge hazard either.

Agreed.. 75 percent of the people I see leave their engine on in below freezing temps while pumping gas

I'm from the great white north, and do it all the time. I think you're less likely to throw a spark at idle, as opposed to on start up... Am I missing something else?

I've seen a lot of truckers leave it running while refueling. That's probably more so they don't cut off oil flow to a turbo that's still de-spooling

Really? Almost everyone does it here and nobody says anything. But i always shut it off.
