That's what I heard they're doing in CA. I didn't know it was national. They decided to declare it hazardous to the environment.

I don't remember voting for anyone in the EPA. I don't like them trying to circumvent constitutional rights.

I guess we will see in about 15 days.

Yea..

Man I sure hope these guys are right. The media is hyping it up like hell.

I talked to a guy that was upset about the EPA forcing shops to stop using lead weights years ago, said that was where he got his from.

Maybe, but the shop I get mine from still uses a good amount of lead ones. Plus I see lead ones being shipped at work every now and then. Honestly I don't know if it's an EPA thing or just an economics thing.

The other issue is, at least here, all the tire shops have someone come and get their weights and recycle them. The only reason I get them from mine is I own the property and our renter is a nice guy. Otherwise I'd be SOL.

California starts all these crazy ideas.

I dunno how the folks out there put up with it. They've got themselves in a real mess out there because of the environmentalists and the nancy pelosis of the world.

I hear there's areas out there that have banned walmarts, banned fast food, banned plastic grocery bags.. I'd love to go out there and see the queen mary again, try in n out burger, but I dunno if I could stand it.

I can barely even stand to be in midtown Atlanta.

Urbanites and I have little in common beyond my occupation. We have drastically different views on life and the role of government.

"Back door gun control" California started it.

The UN doesn't have the power to make laws. They can only propose treaties for countries to sign. An no country will sign that. No one has banned lead ammo and no one will.

My 04 is about 5400 with 1/4 tank and in normal driving trim. Crap in the back seat, me in it, and a full toolbox in the bed
