What stinks is its a special order tire at DT. So I have to wait two to three days to get a new one if it's a goner.

The downside of getting high performance tires.

Tahoe might be getting some daily driver duty this week. The two days I have taken the Firebird to work my wife hasn't been happy to hear it roar to life and wake her up.(neighbors haven't complained.... Yet)

I don't trust plugs. And I really wouldn't in a car tire. I guess see if they'll patch it.

When I bought my house it the street was half built. Suffice to say I had some Yokohama's on my BMW and I bet I patched them at least 4 times. And I drove that car pretty hard, pretty sure I had it near top speed after a few of the patches. Never had an issue.

I trust plugs. Had 4 in one tire when I had my 33's on lol. Just make sure to use that rubber cement. I put plugs in the truck tires at work and those things carry around a load all day. As much as 4500lbs without a problem

Said it before, I'll say it again, the Discount Tire in Broken Arrow, OK has amazing customer service. One of the guys seemed borderline offended didn't let him carry my wheel w/flat for me.

They said it's repairable. The thing is if its in the belt or not, I know it is because I could hear it scraping the tool I put in the hole. Only problem is if they find the the hole is only partly in the belt.

Oh and I dropped the nail somewhere when loading it in the Corolla.....hope I don't see it again.
