My wife and I had a minivan for 3 months and the wife couldn't stand it. Traded it and to this day that was our one and only van. I got my truck and she has her Jeep, everyone's happy.

I'm in the same situation luckily I don't think anyone in my family is really expecting me to get married. You don't have to live life by the script.
