I had a blast at the dunes today. Got a little air and did some side hilling. Rental quad didn't have quite enough go to really ride the bowls, but still a great time.

Nope I would have definitely let you known if I'd been up there lol. I went to the Oceano dunes out here in CA. The dunes aren't huge but there are about 3000 acres to ride. About 2900 camping spots on the beach. They told me there were 5-6000 people there this weekend. I found an almost deserted area and had learned some dune skills

I see.

I saw a 2014 get stuck. Can't air down on them 20's. Probably didn't help that it's dry and super soft either. No way I would take my pickup on the dunes.

You should, it's actually bigger than the dunes out here. I would feel bad taking my pickup on the dunes but quads and bikes are a blast. Top of my legs are still sore.
