Does the escalade gauge line up and plug right in or is there any modifying

You'd need to have mileage programmed in but beyond that it should work I do believe.

Daryl, mine is a whitish silver. It is the OEM gauge SS gauge face. I used the Escalade lens/bezel for the chrome rings.

Sarah, a complete Escalade cluster will work, but you need to have the mileage redone. Or you can do as I did and change individual pieces

You sure on that chris? Don't wanna be spending money and it won't work

Anyone know if the 10 bolt housings are different between a 2wd and 4wd gmt800? is one longer than the other?

I was told once upon a time the 2500 axle is narrower than the 1500 but thats about it

Gonna be headed to get another 10 bolt housing here soon. I think I'm gonna start to save for a 14 bolt rear and get it geared to 4.88's. Figured I'll break this rear sometime (not on purpose) so might as well have a stronger backup ready to go but I probably won't get one for a while. Trying to get stuff paid off first

Looks like I'll get an overlay too while I'm at it. My oil pressure guage is fluctuating not sure if it's the guage or not, but it looks like I'll need to do something with the guages.

That's a good idea. Only thing that throws me off is the different size rear blocks between the two.

EDIT: According to Rancho's website they'll fit. Part # RS5198. Makes me happy because they only have 13,000 or so miles on them, and now all I'll have to buy is front shocks.
