Went out today to run some errands. Ended up picking up a new set of bluetooth headphones since I needed them. Originally $150 at best buy, price matched wally world to $126 and I had a $25 gift card so walked out for $108 after tax. Supposed to be really nice. My other LG headset are the tone pro's which have lasted me 2 years but the right headphone is going in and out so figured time for a new set

Oh and can't forget the damage that was done. Some woman in her cr-v was texting and swerved about halfway into my lane. I shouldered the truck and scraped a plastic mailbox. Big dent and nice gouge into the paint. Just can't win with this truck I swear. Now it's really time to take her into the body shop

Most of that is plastic residue so it's not as bad as it seems lol

I have found a car that is basically a newer version of the one I used to have, and are known to be pretty reliable, and have sent the people a text and an emails over 18 hours with no reply. Guess it's a fake so I'm flagging it.

 

 

Lol, just got a reply after I posted that, and the guy basically lies in the ad so I'm not sorry I already flagged it(ad says nothing is wrong, but it has a torn seat and fabric coming off the roof pillars.)

Okay, this seems about right for our justice system:

 

Guy is arrested 7 times for everything from assult to arson. He is of course out of jail, driving possibly drunk, and rear ends a motorcycle putting the two on it in serious condition. But of course he didn't stop, he fled the wreck, which was right in front of a hospital, then t-bones a car that had a green light, leaving the hospital, killing a 22 year old who had just gotten off work. The victim worked in the same department as my wife, who is there two hours after the wreck(they have no idea what happened) when a worried mother calls asking if her daughter is there because she hasn't made it home yet.

 

Happy Mother's Day.

 

Can we use this guy as a crash test dummy?

I shouldn't have to pay considering I wasn't at falut, I actually avoided a more expensive scenario. I figured this would be a good time to tell the insurance company I need my truck repaired from hitting a few deer as well lol

Going to look at this tonight. Guy said the fender was just barely hit in a parking lot, so the fender was damaged and he removed it a day or two ago to be fixed, but hasn't decided if he will replace it or repair it, so he left the fender off. He owes 9k and will take that for it, said he can see of we can work out a deal to buy once its fixed or 9k as it is wth maybe something toward the repair(maybe "knows a guy"?, interested to see what that means). He has records, it was mostly dealer maintained but he enjoys wrenching so he does stuff himself also(again, not quite sure how those connect, he takes it for oil changes but replaced the plugs himself)

Switched from Verizon to Straight Talk. Tired of the ridiculous prices.

Straight Talk gets even cheaper when you buy it in bundles that are on sale. I think I've seen close to $30 per month on some deals. I think once I get around to canceling my father's phone I'll end up going to ST and get multiple carrier sims so I can switch if for some reason the AT&T one doesn't like a particular area.

Where do you find them on sale at? My phone is a Verizon phone, but the Sim for Verizon that came in the kit wouldn't work. Once I popped in the AT&T Sim the phone worked.

I'd see them on SlickDeals. Thinking about it now, I haven't seen one in a while though. Most of the sales though were dependent on you buying 3-6 months, so essentially pay lump sum to save in the long run I guess. Just checked last deal I could find came out to $40.xx a month buying for a year. Apparently they have BOGO promotions, last one was in November. Maybe I'll wait until the next bogo promotion and jump into ST then.
