I have the 2nd one, but I do have 4 jackstands! I agree, that is why I have put it off. Good thing is it isn't a daily driver, so I can just work on it a lil at a time if I need to.

The option is still on the table however....

Cox just flipped a switch recently, first time over 70! I wasn't expecting this with my 6121 (4 downstream) Motorola modem, can't wait to get a 6183 with 16 downstreams. This result was over WiFi with the app on my phone.

Same issue on my HTC. No idea what changed beyond the lock screen font bring in italics now. lol

It's a bug in lollipop. Very well reported but Google ignored it until 5.2 which will come out soon, but if who knows if the carriers will push a small official update just for big fixes.

Managed IT services.

Right after I bought my house on the southwest side, the company changed all of my clients from west side to northeast side.

It's good in that I Get to play with the "toys" and learn a lot about different networks, people, industries.. its not good because they work you tro DEATH sometimes, you gotta drive all over the metro area in your own vehicle, and you never get to really do what SHOULD be done. only what you're paid to do.

I don't think taking the job was a mistake, I just think buying a house and carrying a car note under it was a mistake. This line of work usually pays more than a static IT job, but thats because its kind of like having 10 standard IT jobs.

So I bought 2 of those Cyberpower units that were on sale Monday. Amazon sent me 3. I sent them an email/msg and got this response

Hello,

I am sorry to know about the trouble you faced with your recent item CyberPower CP1500AVRLCD Intelligent LCD UPS 1500VA 900W AVR Mini-Tower Order ID: *** .I completely understand your disappointment. That's definitely not what we want our customers to experience.
Unfortunately, on rare occasions "Fulfillment Centers" make a mistake when "Assembling a Package". I have forwarded your message to our fulfillment team to make sure they are aware of this incident. We value this feedback, as it helps us continue to improve our store and provide better service to our customers.
There's no need to return the item when you receive it. You're welcome to keep, donate or dispose of it--whichever option is most appropriate and convenient for you.
We appreciate your patience and understanding. I hope this helps.
In addition to our large selection, one of the benefits we try very hard to offer our customers is convenience. I'm very sorry for the inconvenience you experienced in this case.
Thank you for taking time to contact Amazon.com. We hope you'll keep us in mind for your future purchases.
We look forward to see you again.

lol I don't see how I can be disappointed if they are letting me keep a $150ish product (when not on sale). I say canned response.

There's a temp fix for the battery drain caused by wake lock issues for 5.x if I find it again I'll link y'all to it. Although I doubt it'll work with stock roms or unrooted devices though.
