I feel like a traitor

7.3 is okay, they contain Bad cam position sensors. That can leave you stranded. Very weak lift pumps in the cold, also one of the hardest starting diesel trucks ever. Sound like a bag of hammers in the cold.

Also have a tendency to overheat. Another crappy thing is they have very weak con rods. Can't push very much power thru them. The problems they did have were about equal in cost to the common LB7 dmax issues....the 6.0/6.4 PSD isn't even worth my time explaining the issues. If I was the engineer who helped design the 6.0 i probly would have moved to Mexico and hid away the rest of my life. What an abomination of a Diesel engine that 6.0 was.

I have to say, the new power stroke is impressive also. My dads 6.7 has been a good buy so far...

Ive heard good things about the 6.7 as well. I would not mind seeing myself in a new F250...lol

Not sure how long it will work out. Seeing each other once a week isn't that great

His only has 15000 Kms tho, it's pretty cool design. Single sequential variable geometry, it's euro design with the turbo on the outside of the valley. The truck has lightning quick spool up, and pulls up top pretty good also. For a stock diesel it hauls ass.

The last time I drove with him it was LOADED to te nines with me and him in it. It still got between 10-12.5 L's/100 Kms. Pretty damn good.

The cool thing I do like about the 6.4's is they can throw down 600 RWHP with just a tune. H&S makes a very reliable low(ish) EGT tune that puts down 580 with a CAI intake and str8 pipe. The torqshift tranny will hold up to 600 for along time also. It will hold 100 more HP than an allison. The 6.4 with a 310 Spartan tuna is the king of the tuner-only class, it will eat up any EFI'd duramax. But they still have reliability issues, they are hot and cold tho. I have buddy have over 200k no issues. Have another buddy in and out of the shop steady. Bad water bumps, bad oil pan gaskets and injector body failures. Fords poor design enforces the techs to pull the cabs, so labor is $$$$$$....

I really dislike the current Super Duty design

now they are beating the 2013 F-150 with the same Ugly stick used on the Current Super Duty. (or as Adam "Ford Killer" Ferrara said on the US Top Gear HD Truck Challenge: "Super Doody")

You need to remind her it's just a Ford. Either the computer module is going to go out or it's going to catch on fire errr or is that one a Chrysler issue. Just use it anyways.

I remind her that I got more HP to the wheel than she does at the crank. Also that mine is faster and gas costs less than diesel

aaand you just reminded me of the Power Steering Issue that the Cloud cars (Cirrus/Stratus/Breeze) had in 1999; the Pressure hose was cheapened, and due to Stupid Routing OVER The EXTREMELY HOT Exhaust Manifold, many a cloud were cooked to an Extra Crisp.
