I'll be dead before I get in another brand of truck. That's a promise, and that's why I was comfortable getting it. Got lots of camo z71 decals in stock lol. And gm can discontinue it if they'd like, because there ain't no reason to downgrade to a newer body truck. I think the gmt800 guys will agree. Not hating on anybody's truck, Id just rather not spend 30+ grand on a truck that'll burn oil.

And for the Dale jr #8 thing, they could always add another 8 lol.

Also the massive foot, it's half her leg. It's just taken at a weird angle, she's 5 feet tall.

Is that the 2WD Z71?

Uh no, they're technically z71 stickers for a gmt400. Also there no such thing as a factory 2wd z71, its a shock, spring, skid plate, and sticker package that the dealer can install on 2wd trucks. All z71 trucks from the factory are 4x4.

From what I was told, any 2wd with the z71 package is dealer installed. You won't find the z71 code in the glovebox. Maybe that's just here in Canada? Either way, 2wd trucks are useless as far as I'm concerned.

You were told wrong. Just to make sure it wasn't different in Canada, I just went to the .ca site and built a 2wd Z71 to be factory ordered.

I forget what year it started... maybe 2009? But yeah, Z71 has little to do with "offroad" anymore.

Just putting it out there...

Even though my truck is a Z71, practically none of the components are there. Upgraded to Bilstien shocks for better control and the stickers are off.

Z71 used to have a big X factor, but it's losing it. Maybe if Chevy put out a "raptor killer" with the Z71 name on it the option would get a boost.

There are plenty of 2wd Z71 trucks rolling out of the factory everyday. It no longer has anything to do with off road anything. The 2wd Z71 trucks look identical to the 4x4 trucks, just missing the 4x4 in the Z71 decal, that's about the only way to tell without looking under the truck.
