Picture out my window upstairs looking toward my neighbors driveway / mailbox. You can just see the mailbox sitting on top of snow.

the worst part was trying to pull the snoww off the canopy on side that i have over my truck. I reinforced the hell out of it was a 14mil tarp tensioned down like a drum but its still just a 5 post steel frame 12x26'.

This snpw was caving roofs in on houses and stores. there are still stores closed from it! Schools closed for 2 weeks. But my hard work and dedication paid off to keep my canopy standing! there was a wall of hard packed snow on either side 3ft wide 10ft tall that came off the top. it was like concrete. all gone now to!

-24C/-11F tonite. Forgot to park next to a plug in, luckily we have lots of extension chords for our work vehicles. 8 extension chords and 80ft later...

Ouch, you should invest $60 on a nice 12 gauge 100' extension cord. I can only imagine how small of wires those 10' cords are.

 

Then again, with frigid temps like that, overheating the insulation would take some serious effort!
