Sounds good, Cant wait to see&hear it, I have 4:10,s with a 33" tire and im right around 2000-2150 rpms at 70-72 MPH..

With 3:42's and factory 20's on the factory size I'm at 18-1900 at 70

Yea that should be a big improvment..3;42 to 3;73, probably feel like you picked up 25-30 hp just from that gear swap alone..

But I live in California so I do a lot of freeway driving. Once day a week I drove 130 miles to school then back home same day. So I can't get too crazy

That would be sweet in ur truck chawkins, wth a 3;73 or 4;10 rear

 

It's 6.0...same as vortec max, Cadillacs couple other things. I think 345hp.

 

 

That is the lesser of the 2 Vortec Max engines with the L76 being stronger. They both are severly detuned from the factory. With some extra $ you can really have a beast.

 

What transmission is in your 4.8L?

I didn't know I could mix Gen 3 and 4. I know the L76 has more HP but the LQ9 has more TQ. I know the L76 has VVT but also DoD. Is like to avoid the latter. I am going to pull the trigger on this after the new year. I don't want to completely drain the savings on this. So its best to wait another month or 2

I have the 60 in my 4.8. I'm going to have the servo and transgo hd2 shift kit done when they do the engine. Then do a 65 when the 60 goes
