I can't find a definitive answer for you. I read his unauthorized bio, Amerigo Vespucci - The Original Italian Stallion. It seems he did like potato salad. But only if it had Old Bay seasoning. Apparently he had an affinity for Chef Boyardee products though, after all they were both Italian. One other note, he preferred Grey Poupon.

I thought about it but I figured with him being dead it wouldn't be very reliable. It would make total sense for his family to embelish the details on that page in order to keep people interested in his story. Did you know that of all historical figures, pre-1733, there have been more children's books writen about AV than any other man. It's also been reported that he had a thing for large women.
