Air bag helper springs

Hey guys,

Anybody have any experience with air bag helper springs? I have a 7/8000 lb boat (nobody seems to really know how heavy it is), all I do know is I towed it last May, and among other things, the rear suspension wasn't really happy, I already have a compressor on board for my air horns, I just need to know if it's worth it, or if air bag's destroy the trucks ride quality, or if there are any brands that people know suck. Any input's appreciated.

P.S. I have an 07 LTZ Z71 5.3L, Newer body style

They work great. I added some on my 95 Impala SS. It was already low enough, but add a toolbox, 4 race tires, jack & stands in the trunk & back seat and it was scraping everywhere. They leveled it out and it rode fine loaded or empty. They did not affect handling as I was SCCA Solo racing it. Spanking those Mustangs. I just used a manual fill system with the valves behind the fold down tag. No compressor or power or switches to mess with. I loaded the car, hit the bags with the air compressor till level, checked the pressure with my guage to even each side and hit the road. I would not hesitate to add a set to a truck if I hauled anything heavy for a distance or regularly.

How do you like your air horns? I am in traffic all day and I would luuvv to wake up some these idiots in the left lane.

Thanks for the reply sounds like they're in then, air horns are awesome, but you have to have room for the compressor/air tank, other than that they're great, I've had people almost merge into me, but a quick tap has saved me more times than i can count, and they're LOUD

I have a set of Timbrens on my truck for when it gets loaded down in the rear... Very handy... less expensive than the airbags, and less to go wrong....

How do those work? They look like non-adjustable air bags
