Tip if you live in Alberta and drive a 2WD Truck

BUY A 4x4

You must be the guy I see in the ditch because your 4x4 stops faster in the snow?

Obviously if your wheels are buried and your stuck in mud or snow a 4x4 helps to have but whenever it snows around here I see 2 things:

1 Infinity brand all wheel drive SUVs driven by blondes in the ditch.

2 Jacked up 4x4s in the ditch.

Rarely you see stock looking trucks stuck driven by guys in their 30's or 40's stuck.

I'm only 28. But I just sit back and laugh at these moron drivers who have an invincibility complex owning a 4x4.

Problem going up a hill? Chains fix that, and you need them on the mountain highway during the winter anyways.

4x4's don't stop any faster in shit conditions and if your on ice it don't matter what wheels have power once you start spinnin'

Another one: 2wd duel wheel trucks. It's all we use at work in the deep muck they work great rarely get stuck. And when they do, a 4x4 wouldn't have made it either. In snow they are useless. Wheels pack up in between with snow and that's it. More useless than a 2wd single wheel!

Driving in the mountains and hunting I never have a problem. Might be able to go a little farther if I did have the 4 wheel drive but I'm still glad I got a 2wd. Seeing my friends have to repair parts of their 4wd system while my truck at the same age runs like a clock is good enough to make me smile!
