New job!

Congrats on the job. Takes a lot of patience to get that far. ;)

 

I worked at a local hospital in 2007 in their home care dept thinking I could go to school work my way up.

But it is tough starting over like that & could not afford to hang with it. Liked the work & patients & so on, but definitely a long road starting like that. Had I been 18 or 22 may be it would have been a different story.

How did u get a job like that at 15?? Hell I couldn't get anywhere at 15.

Volunteer. Rode with the paid boys. Parents were strict, so they had to drive me to the ambulance station. It was fun. Then started fire department when I was barely 17. Did that for 12 years. Miss that the most.

My uncle was a volunteer paramedic while he was in high school. I remember spending the night with my grandfather and listening to the scanner about a wreck. My grandfather, uncle and me jumped in the car and took off. I stayed in the car and just watched. But it was an adventure!
