traded in the Avalanche, and bought a Camaro Convertible.

took my 19 year old niece into the Chevy dealer I have bought my last 6 Chevy's from to get her first car, she got a 2011 Malibu 1LT for $16,500 OTD (money she has saved for her first car).

While I was there I saw a 2012 Silver 2SS/RS Convertible, I was going to wait for the ZL-1 Convertible, but found out my insurance would more than double, so I stuck with an SS.

so this is the Camaro when I brought it home:

and after a bit of modding:

power coated the exhaust tips

I do miss the Avalanche, but this is what I really wanted all along, so let the mid-life crisis begin..

The modding will never end.

I have done an axleback exhaust, CAI, vinyl bowties. I also have a heritage grille to put in and I am thinking about doing the functional mailslot.

Ha!Ha! Well at least you're being honest with yourself.

Seriously though, nice car!

yeah, I liked the Avalanche, but I know I bought it because it was a safe bet, after having 6 years of problems with my previous vehicle which was also a first model year vehicle.
