What do you think would be a fair price on this truck?

What do you think would be a fair price on this truck. I got them down quite a bit from their asking price, it looks like it needs new tires. Not a fan of the wheels but thats something i can change. The miles kinda scare me, even though i know the 5.3 motors last a long time.

Did I read 170k for miles? I just don't know understand these people and what they advertise these trucks for. I guess 4X4's add four extra $$$$ to a truck matter the year and mileage? Lol my 2wd crew cab lt2 2006 with only 80k cost me 14k. And it came with extras. But maybe its just me.

yeah trucks are priced crazy anymore. i got them down to $8500, but still kinda leary on the miles

I think that still is kind of high. Plus I the milage would push me away from that truck. Just think of the past life of it with the bigger tires and all. Also you have to think about replacing the engine soon, maybe. So think of that cost and time it would take.

yeah i went and checked it out today, think im gonna pass. its actually in pretty good condition, but the tires are chopped pretty bad and they didnt seem interested in working out anything on it so i just walked away. Ill keep looking!

I'd pass on it too for that price, good call. I think you'd be a little happier with one a bit newer (05-07C). If they would have gone down a little further it would have been a sell for me.

waaay to high. that truck has a leveling kit too, probably was never aligned if the tires are chopped. if i was going to buy a truck with that many miles it would have to be bone stock.

 

its a clean truck, but not worth more the 6000.
