Trophy Truck vs. Boss 302 Mustang

Insane video of a trophy truck being run at a dragstrip and then a race track. It is incredible that the massive truck with a few feet of suspension travel kept up with a track-focused muscle car. And then there's the sound it makes!

What's with the Bullet Proof Diesel sticker on the side, and no diesel engine? I was actually expecting to see a diesel in it.

No matter how much power a diesel made, it would never handle as well, be as light or have as good throttle response. Not bashing- just the overlooking of the diesel downfalls gets to me sometimes!

Gas is the predominant race engine for a reason.

I notice they didn't really show the Mustang run so that one might evaluate how good a driver was driving it and how hard it was pushed.

I'd say since he's about 10 seconds off an RX-7 race car that's damn impressive.

id kill to drive that trophy truck.. and its not surprising that its almost as fast as a mustang, its a purpose built truck meant to go fast and it has a built 442 and top of the line suspension components and the mustang is just a mustang, a daily driver.

I wonder how much the truck cost? I thought it was crazy watching the nose rise and fall with the shifts. Pretty crazy how planted it seemed coming through the pavement corners.
