Took truck in and I'm not smiling

Both blend door actuators bad so $1350. I figured it would be over $1000 when I dropped it off. I get a call around noon saying the actuators are in and during test, the control head is shot as well. Another $340. I call them at 4:30 to check status of my truck and they said it's done but there is a problem.

 

The tech hit my mirror while backing out of the bay. The lower glass broke. They ordered a new one. Should be here tomorrow afternoon. Hope they don't screw that up.

My thought exactly, I worked on these for years in the dealer and want to know how many times I had to replace all those parts to fix one? 0

Since they broke your mirror and are wasting your time. Lets say your time is worth as much as there time so the job should be free.

They said codes popped for both actuators, and later when they called they said after the actuators were in they went to test with the control head and drivers side controlled pass and hot was cold, but it worked with one they had on the shelf

Got the truck back. $1500. they could have at least washed the truck since they were bending me over

I would say find a good private shop. Sounds awefully fishy and $$$.
