Went with a friend to Mid Michigan Motorplex in Stanton where he ran his ZR2 Sonoma. The truck has nitrous and the runs that were on spray are obvious. Especially the 4WD launches. The two runs starting around 1:58 the crap coming off his truck is sand from Silver Lake.

Nice runs. He should upgrade to the colorado with the 5.3 V-8. Though chevy doesn't advertise it as an SS colorado, I think thats what they wanted it to be. Only thing is that I like them and wouldn't mind it with the V-8 but matted to the 4 speed, I'll say no thanks untill they throw in an extra gear or two.

This thing would eat a V8 Colorado for lunch. That goofy launch is from front end components deflecting. A few people I know have made a solution to adapt a one ton idler arm to these trucks and the initial results are promising. Between that and a tune to take full advantage of the spray I am pretty confident he'll break into the 13s.
