at least you got your 2013 before Ford Decided to beat it with the same Ugly Stick they used on the Super Doody. good luck with the F-150, everyone on my Dad's side was Born and Raised on Fords ( my grandpa had a MINT '01 Extended Cab in Arizona Beige with only 51K on it! he sold it to my uncle Ted, where it was involved in a Multi-Car Collision and Totaled.)

I got AMPs on my truck and like them. I am ready for the new 14s so I can get one. But I can tell you that it too will have AMPs. They bare awesome. PITA to install on a Chevy with the door panel removal.

Really? I installed them on my 2010 Z (in my signature), I thought they were easy, just way too damn time consuming. And it's more difficult with only one person lol. This time I will have a buddy help.

The 285's were just sitting there at the dealership the night I bought the truck. A customer never showed to get the tires, so the accessories manager pretty much gave them to me as long as they could put them on that night before I left lol I think I payed $60 just for mount and balance. My next set will be a 305...... may be pretty soon just for the hell of it. I will then sell these that only have 6k on them.

They were as you say time consuming. Not hard. Needed a helper. This is funny. I did it at night and i was using a flashlight. When I got done I was looking for it only to realize I left the damn thing in the door. I was using the light to feed the wire tube through the rubber line and left it in the passenger door. I of course removed it. Not hard again but time consuming.

-Started consuming oil here and there while getting worse as time went on (only had 29k miles at trade in)

-Needed a bigger back seat (Flat floor is a plus as well)

-Wanted a fully loaded, every option available truck

-Wanted better mileage

-Wanted more power

-Got an awesome deal on this Ford through a buddy

.......and so on.

i probably commented on this thread earlier, but that is an awesome looking truck. that style of F150's are great trucks and they look great with whatever the color matched package is. id consider an F150 next time around.

i hope that the new GM crew cabs will have comparable room to the F150's, the GMT900 CC's dont have nearly enough room in the back seat.
