Saw this on the road today... I thought it was hilarious.

I don't know that the rivalry would be as big in Canada since there aren't any Canadian automotive brands that are the "home town" guys.

Well, we did own 12.5% of GM after the bailout. Also, my truck was built in Oshawa, Ontario. You'll find that there's no difference between the loyalty of Canadians or Americans to either GM or Ford.

Edit: Aren't you the same Mike from ZR2USA?

The timing chain comment was just a friendly jab at Ford fans. With the twin overhead cam modular V8 that they run the timing chain is , uh, not short. As for racing all of you, I'll bet I beat all of you to the gas station. Actually, I get about 13mpg city and 18mpg hwy, or 1mpg better than the stock 6.2 is rated. Probably related to running premium fuel and trying to be a good boy...

LMFAO, wish I could get the mpg you get. However, I drive it like I stole it most of the time. Sure would like to feel the power of your truck one time, on second thought, it would just make me spend more money... LOL

Well, at least mine is paid for, was when it left the showroom floor. Have to wonder if that guy that says trucks are not fast can say that.

BTW, I do know what fast is. I bought a 1970 Shelby GT500 off the showroom floor in Miami, drove it for 2000 miles, took the engine out. Dropped it off at Crane engineeering, had them do all the magic that was available back then. Paid cash for the car and the engine build too. It ran in the low 10's consistantly. Yeah Buddy it was quick. Today I am quite happy with my old slow truck....

I have terminal cancer, it is just something life threw at me, so it is okay. I do like to play and enjoy things now. Nothing anyone can say or do to me gets me upset anymore. And please don't tell me you are sorry, it is just life, nothing more or nothing less.. ;)

The people who degrade what others have will never be satisfied, it's just not in their mentality to be happy. I remember having a boatload of fun in a Topaz, and it certainly wasn't fast. What everyone is chasing is happiness. You, Coolmaker, sound like you understand what it means to be happy. I wish you all the luck.

your right, and most people do look down on what others have if its not the best or the newest.
