I don't understand the "faster" argument with trucks. I see this a lot on this forum. Seriously, who gives a F if one truck if "faster" than the other??? I don't know about you guys, but I certainly didn't buy a truck because it was fast. I have never seen a "fast" production truck. If you go out looking to a buy a truck and buy the fastest one, than you're an idiot in my book.

You want fast, buy a Vette or CTS-V or Mustang GT500... those are fast. Trucks are not fast, and will never be fast! Get over it.

PS-> IIRC, he has a 2500HD, which Toyota clearly does not have an answer for.

right, because everyone wants a truck that struggles to get up to speed.

the people i know that love toyotas are the people we all cant stand because they think they know what they're talking about and usually end up getting their vehicles smashed up by other people because they run their mouths..

Messing with someone's vehicle regardless of what they've said is beyond unacceptable in my book. ****ing wuss move. If you got a problem with someone, deal with them, not their car/truck.

Messing with somebody's vehicle here will get you killed.

The over the top fanboy nature of this place is amusing at times... and pretty dumb at times. The truth is that no brand is "the superior being" when it comes to trucks. They all make good ones and they all spit out a few pieces of junk. Everybody has to like something.

I kind of like the fanboy nature of this forum. Agreed, it is a bit over the top sometimes, but hey, it isn't an all makes trucks dot com forum, it's a GM Trucks forum. I'm sure the Dodge, Ford and Toyota forums are just as opinionated as we are here, and that's OK, as Zembonez said, everybody has to like something.

I understand that a good car is inherently faster than a truck but we can all have fun racing a faster vehicle with an arrogant and less skillfull driver, or maybe just having fun with friends for the challenge. And holy crap Jonathan's Callaway has GOT to be fast man, come on!

I agree with David, it's fun just to "run what you brung" whether you bought it to be the fastest or not. I didn't buy my truck to be the fastest, but to reward myself for busting my a$$ for the last thirty plus years . I can afford one vehicle, and it needs to be functional, but wanted a "toy" as well. I happened to find something that was both. And yes, David is right- it ain't slow... :driving:
