Just came home from work, walked into the house as it started to rain, next thing I know the wind is blowing like crazy and things are thumping around. Look out back and the pool looks like the ocean in a bad storm. Have a deck full of hail, most of them are quarter size around and thick. Go out and look at truck, hood, roof and bed rails are toast no broken glass, Wifes Exployder is in the same shape and the old 98 Sonama took a lickin and it is beat to crap.

Damn... Sorry to hear about your vehicles. I always worry about hail. My kids' toys take up the space in the garage where I used to park my truck...

Sorry to hear, hope repairs are quick and as painless as possible. I drove through a hail storm a couple of months ago, luckily the hail was small enough to not cause any serious damage (truck already has enough dents/dings).

Same thing happened to our 2012 Grand Cherokee about a month ago. It's been in the body shop fo 2 weeks now. The hail got the roof, hood, and most of the right side. $4500.00 in damage. We hadn't even had the Jeep 3 weeks! I was lucky and had my truck parked at work. No damage to it

Hate to hear that. I had so many incidents over the years that having a garage would have prevented, I decided I would spend the money/work on building garage space for vehicles before I ever bought another new/nice vehicle. So far it has worked but a couple of times it was close and you can always be caught out somewhere in a storm.

Yeah the plans were to get a carport or garage built it just never happened (yet) after this it may be the first thing done even before fixing the truck. Its hard to get good pictures but here is one that must have been bigger than a golf ball!!

Got estimate from insurance company yesterday, $12,000 if they can pop the dents out of the roof. They did not tell me how much if they need to replace the roof!! Only good thing that I see happening out of this is I loose that big black useless hood marker, I talked to body shop guy today asking him about it and he said he thinks he can get around it for me.

Ouch!!! That sucks man...hail damage is a PITA. I would hope if it happened to me they would just write it off

Got my truck back from shop yesterday, it looks great and is a lot better than than F150 rental truck I had!! I will try and get some pictures up in the next day or two.
